On last Earth Day, Sazorea teamed up with several partners to carry out a planting action of endemic species in our homeland, Corvo Island, in the Azores. This action reflects our commitment to environmental preservation and strengthening our roots, always respecting the nature that inspires us.
Action in partnership with the local community
The planting of trees and endemic plants from the region was carried out in partnership with various entities and the local community, with the aim of enhancing the island’s biodiversity and contributing to the recovery of natural habitats. This initiative was a moment of unity, environmental education, and celebration of nature, involving both residents and visitors, all committed to leaving a green legacy for future generations.

We are pleased to share that Sazorea has been nominated for the 35th edition of the Máxima Beauty and Perfumes Awards in the Portuguese Brand category, with our product of choice: The Gentle Renewing cleansing foam.
This nomination represents another milestone in the young history of Sazorea, recognizing the quality, innovation, and authenticity of our products developed with Azorean soul and a commitment to natural and effective skincare.
A nationally prestigious distinction
The Máxima Beauty and Perfumes Awards are one of the most prestigious distinctions in the cosmetics and perfumery sector in Portugal. Promoted by the magazine Máxima, these awards annually recognize the best beauty products, both national and international, based on criteria such as effectiveness, innovation, texture, sustainability, and sensory experience.
The 35th edition featured hundreds of applications and several months of rigorous testing. The jury, composed of industry beauty specialists, journalists, and influencers, selected the nominees — and among them, our beloved The Gentle Renewing.
The big announcement
The winners were revealed on May 14, 2025, at a ceremony that celebrates excellence and creativity in the beauty industry.
Regardless of the final result, this nomination has already been a great achievement for us. It is the validation of the care, science, and passion we put into each formula — and further proof that we are on a promising path.

On May 10 and 11, 2025, Sazorea was present at the first edition of the Foyer Health & Beauty Summit, held at the 8 Marvila venue in Lisbon. This event, already considered the most relevant in the health and beauty sector in Portugal, brought together leading experts, top brands, and an eager audience seeking credible and transformative knowledge.
Where science, health, and beauty meet
More than just a simple gathering, the Foyer was a space for transformation, where the most current topics in dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine, aging, menopause, emerging technologies, and sustainable care were discussed.Created by Joana Álvares, founder of the Beautyst.pt project, the Foyer Health & Beauty Summit is a pioneering event that aims to promote health and beauty literacy among the Portuguese population.
With a dedicated scientific committee composed of renowned specialists, the event ensured that all shared information was rigorous, up-to-date, and based on scientific evidence.
Three Thematic Foyers and an Innovative Agenda
The event was structured in three immersive spaces:
FOYER 1 – Medical Foyer: an auditorium for sessions led by doctors and specialists.
FOYER 2 – Brand Foyer: a space for brand activation — where Sazorea was present.
FOYER 3 – Meeting Foyer: a location dedicated to workshops, debates, and sharing among professionals and the public.
The scientific program was carefully designed to offer an educational, practical, and inspiring experience, with interactive sessions, exclusive launches, brand activations, and unique networking opportunities.

Integrada at FOYER 2, Sazorea presented its products, including internationally awarded formulas, and shared its vision of natural skincare based on scientific principles and Azorean soul. This presence reinforces the brand’s mission: to develop conscious, effective skincare anchored in respect for nature and grounded in scientific principles.
Villa Portugal: celebrating national talent
Sazorea also had the privilege of being present at Villa Portugal, a space specially dedicated to Portuguese brands that are innovating and making their mark in the country — and in the world. This area celebrated entrepreneurship, creativity, and national excellence in the health and beauty sector.
