Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol is the vegan alternative to retinol – it reproduces the effects of retinol but with much greater tolerability and without the unwanted side effects (itching, redness and irritation), with the additional advantage of being safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Bakuchiol provides a powerful stimulating effect of the same receivers responsible for the synthesis of collagen in the dermis, increasing the production of collagen Type I, III and IV, which helps to accelerate cell regeneration. This process is also extremely beneficial in helping to restore the skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Furthermore, as it penetrates deeply into the skin, it also helps to improve hyperpigmentation, increases skin thickness and elasticity and evens out skin tone.

This organic essential oil, produced in the Azores, has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, astringent, tonic, calming, skin-protective and regenerating properties.

Rosehip oil

Derived from the rose seed, this oil is rich in vitamins A, C and E and is proven to brighten the complexion, regenerate the skin, stimulate collagen production, helping to delay the signs of premature aging, photoaging and the appearance of wrinkles.
