GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
Using our services in the online store always implies acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, in the version published by ZIVO UNIPESSOAL, LDA (brand name SAZOREA) at the time of purchase, so it’s essential to read them before placing any order or making any purchase.
PREAMBLE
These general online sales terms and conditions are agreed between Zivo Unipessoal, Lda (brand name SAZOREA), headquartered at Rua da Fonte, sn, 9980-021 Corvo, NIPC 516997238, email hello@sazorea.com, hereinafter referred to as the SELLER, and the people or consumers, hereinafter referred to as the CONSUMER, who, using its SITE https://www.sazorea.com, wish to make purchases in its online store.
The SELLER and the CONSUMER agree that purchases made will be governed exclusively by this contract, to the exclusion of any conditions previously available on the site, and the CONSUMER will be bound to these by clicking the “I accept the general terms and conditions of sale” button.
For the purposes of applying Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, the CONSUMER is a natural person acting for purposes that do not fall within the scope of their commercial, industrial, craft, or professional activity.
COMMERCIAL POLICY
The SELLER offers its products for sale on its SITE www.sazorea.com and reserves the right not to process orders that do not comply with its general terms of sale published at the time.
By using the SITE to order or purchase products, the CONSUMER guarantees they have the necessary legal capacity and expressly agrees to be bound by the legal transaction or contract entered into.
The CONSUMER declares that the personal information provided at registration or when placing the order or making the purchase is their own and is complete, namely: first name, surname(s), address, tax ID (NIF), email, phone contact, and delivery address.
CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The SELLER reserves the right, without prior notice, to add, modify, or alter these general online sales conditions, change prices, or modify or replace available products. By placing a new order or purchase, the USER accepts and expressly agrees to the new general terms and conditions and sale prices.
PURCHASING AND BILLING PROCESS
To order on sazorea.com, the user must have an email account and their browser must be configured to accept cookies and pop-ups, to ensure full navigability of the SAZOREA online store.
- To make a purchase:
- Choose the product(s) you want to buy, including the desired quantity;
- Add the selected products to the Cart;
- If the consumer has a discount coupon, they should apply it in the appropriate field and then click “APPLY” before finalizing the order. Coupons may not be cumulative, so they may not be used together with other offers/promotions.
- Finalize the purchase; as you proceed, you’ll be taken to a new page to enter the following details in the shipping form:
- First name, surname, address, country, NIF (optional), phone number, and email
- Delivery address if it’s different from the contact details.
- Select a payment method; you can choose between debit or credit card, Multibanco Reference, MBWAY, or PayPal.
- Review your order;
- Make the payment and confirm the order.
- Final confirmation of the order by the CONSUMER constitutes full acceptance of the prices and the description of the products available for sale, as well as these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which are the only ones applicable to the contract thus concluded.
- Your order is confirmed when you click the “Confirm Payment” (Checkout) button at the end of the purchase process. When SAZOREA receives your order, a message will appear on the screen with your order number and all its details. The purchase agreement is finalized at that moment. An order confirmation will be sent to your email with the details of the purchased product, quantity, and price, which will also include the invoice. The data on the invoice are the sole responsibility of the CONSUMER. The invoice is issued immediately after payment and, once issued, it cannot be reissued with changes. If you didn’t receive it, please check your SPAM folder. We suggest that you print and/or save the information. We suggest printing or downloading this copy for future reference.
- All personal data entered on this SITE will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (available on this SITE for your review).
- After completing the required information and before finalizing the order, the CONSUMER must also read and accept these Terms and Conditions of Sale and SAZOREA’s Privacy Policy by selecting the option “I have read and accept the store’s terms and conditions and privacy policy.”
- You should avoid mistakes by reviewing your order before finalizing. The CONSUMER is solely responsible for any loss, damage, and additional costs that may arise from providing any false, incorrect, or incomplete information.
- If you’ve placed and paid for an order and, for any reason, the product is no longer available or has been discontinued, the SELLER will refund the amount paid for the unavailable items. In case of stock outage, the SELLER will contact the CONSUMER by email, giving the option to wait for restocking or receive a refund.
We reserve the right to reject, cancel, or close any order for any reason, even after its automatic confirmation, and/or in the following situations, without liability for any damages or costs:
- The product has been discontinued;
- Billing information is incorrect or unverifiable;
- Orders are incomplete or incorrect;
- The order is flagged by our Security Systems as incorrect or potentially fraudulent;
- Orders without sufficient assurance of good collection;
- We haven’t received the payment transfer for the order within 5 days after acceptance of your order;
- If we believe you are under 16;
- If we believe you are a reseller;
- Delivery is not possible to the address provided.
In the cases mentioned, we will inform you by email that the sales contract was not concluded and that the SELLER will not proceed with the sale, specifying the reasons.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Currently, SAZOREA ships only to European Union member countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, and Sweden).
Delivery
- We deliver products Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, and we don’t ship on public holidays.
- We can only fulfill delivery if the address is a home or office located in one of the countries listed above.
- To receive the order, please ensure someone is at the address. This service doesn’t include scheduling or appointment options, so the order will be delivered without prior contact from the carrier.
- Orders shipped by the SELLER have an associated tracking code, sent to the CONSUMER by email as soon as the order is processed and shipped. If you didn’t receive the email, check your SPAM folder. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us: order@sazorea.com.
Delivery Times
- If you confirm your order on a business day by 1 PM and pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, MBWAY, or via PayPal, your order will be processed and shipped within 1–2 business days (weekends and holidays are not business days). If the order is placed on Friday after 1 PM, we’ll prepare it on the next business day.
- If you choose payment by Multibanco reference, shipping may take longer since we will only ship after receiving payment. This can take up to 7 days.
- Although we work hard to meet the stated timelines, during promotional periods, sales, launches, and special discount days such as Black Friday and the Christmas season, and other peak times, deliveries may take a bit longer than usual.
- SAZOREA will not be responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performing any obligation due to a force majeure event, meaning any event, act, or omission beyond its reasonable control (Force Majeure—covering any event, act, or omission beyond its reasonable control).
- Delivery times vary according to the destination, and after dispatch, take:
- 2 business days for mainland Portugal
- 5–7 business days for the Azores and Madeira
- 5–7 business days for the European Union
- 10 business days for Switzerland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.
The dates provided are for guidance only. Any delay in dispatch or delivery compared to the estimated dates does not entitle the Customer to any compensation.
Partial Deliveries
Whenever possible, we’ll try to deliver everything in a single shipment. However, we reserve the right to split the delivery, for example (but not limited to) if part of the order is delayed or unavailable. If we split the order, the customer will be notified by email of our intention to proceed in this way. The email address provided at the time of purchase will be used for this purpose.
Inspection upon delivery
Upon receipt of the order, the customer must check its condition and immediately report any nonconformity of the item to the carrier at delivery and promptly contact the SELLER to report what happened at order@sazorea.com. You must also send photos of the products received and indicate the order number as well as the name under which the order was placed. If this does not happen, we will not be able to exchange or refund the items.
Any issues must be reported within 24 hours; otherwise, it will be considered that the materials were in perfect condition, and we will not be responsible for any damage caused during transport.
The SAZOREA team will analyze the situation and the returned product and inform the customer of the right to a refund or proceed with sending a replacement. As a rule, refunds are made within 5 business days from the day the damaged item is received at our facilities.
SHIPPING COSTS
- The shipping cost of your order is not included in the item price and is calculated automatically at checkout based on your location or destination country, as well as the weight and size of the order.
- The shipping cost is fully borne by the CONSUMER.
- International shipments outside the EU are subject to taxes and customs duties that are not calculated at checkout, for which SAZOREA is not responsible; these are borne by the customer. We advise you to contact the customs office in your country of residence to determine the applicable clearance costs.
- By placing an order on the SITE sazorea.com, the Consumer agrees to pay all charges associated with that order and purchase.
- If the customer places an order whose value exceeds the minimum order amount defined for their country or campaign, shipping will be free of charge.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Stock is updated online. However, at the time of your purchase, a product may go out of stock, and you won’t be able to proceed. In that case, you may opt to be notified when it becomes available again.
SAZOREA will honor online orders only up to available stock limits. If a product is unavailable, SAZOREA undertakes to inform the CONSUMER as soon as possible.
If the ordered products are out of stock, or if there is any other reason preventing fulfillment of the order, the CONSUMER will be notified. In this case, SAZOREA will refund the consumer any amounts paid, as provided in Article 19 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14.
DATA VERIFICATION
Upon receiving the order, the SELLER may carry out certain checks as a fraud prevention measure.
PAYMENT
The SELLER offers the following payment methods:
- Multibanco Reference
- PayPal
- MBWAY
- Debit card
- Credit card
- Klarna
Payment will be requested in the final step of the purchase process, after the Consumer enters all card details.
Credit Card, Debit Card, and MBWAY
For payments by credit card, debit card, and MBWAY, the amount will be charged to the Consumer’s card immediately after purchase confirmation. If any ordered products are out of stock, their value will be credited back to the Consumer’s card after the order is closed.
PayPal
If the CONSUMER prefers to pay via PayPal, select this payment method and click “Complete Purchase.” You’ll then be redirected to the PayPal page to proceed with the payment.
If for any reason the Consumer can’t complete the purchase, send an email to order@sazorea.com.
After completing all steps with the chosen payment option, the CONSUMER will be redirected to SAZOREA’s SITE (www.sazorea.com) where you’ll see a message confirming your order was completed successfully. At this point, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from your bank or PayPal account, and the CONSUMER will receive an order confirmation email.
Payment Security
The sazorea.com store uses one of the most robust security technologies among available encryption platforms.
Your payment information will be encrypted from the moment you enter until your transaction is processed and will not be stored on a public server. Although we use encryption software, the security of information and payments transmitted over the Internet or via email cannot be guaranteed.
SAZOREA cannot be held liable for any damage suffered as a result of using electronic means of communication, including but not limited to damages resulting from failures or delays in the delivery of electronic communications, interception or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties, or computer programs used for communications or virus transmissions.
DATA SECURITY
The SELLER prioritizes security and may use encryption methods to receive or send data, but cannot be held responsible for delays or communication failures, interception or manipulation of data by third parties, or by computer programs or any type of virus.
RETENTION OF TITLE
- The SELLER assumes no contractual or non-contractual liability for any errors or omissions in the SITE’s content.
- The CONSUMER should carefully read all the information provided about the product before purchasing and before using a product purchased on our SITE. For any additional questions, the user can contact customer support via email: hello@sazorea.com
- In the event that links to other websites of brands in our portfolio are provided for your information, we are not responsible for the content of those sites or for any transaction you make with other entities.
- Any delays in processing or delivering the order do not entitle the CONSUMER to demand any compensation for contractual or non-contractual non-compliance or refund of the price.
ITEM SALE PRICE
- The indicated prices include VAT at the legal rate in force.
- The sale price of the items is set by the SELLER and may be changed at any time. However, possible price changes in items do not affect orders whose receipt has already been confirmed to the CONSUMER.
- The prices indicated on the products are the sale prices. In the event of an error in entering the price on the SITE, the SELLER reserves the right to cancel the order containing the respective product, refunding the purchase amount.
ORDER DELIVERY DELAYS
The SELLER is not responsible for any delivery delays of the order for any reason, including errors in filling out forms, incorrect address indication, lack of indication of mobile phone or email contact, force majeure reasons such as strikes, traffic accidents, carrier vehicle breakdowns, natural phenomena, rain, and other adversities. We are not responsible for lost or stolen orders.
RIGHT OF FREE WITHDRAWAL
- The CONSUMER may freely terminate the contract concluded and executed on the SELLER’s SITE, under the terms of article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014 of February 14, with the CONSUMER being responsible for the costs or shipping associated with the return.
- To do so, the CONSUMER must return their order within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt. The deadline for exercising the right of free termination expires at the end of this period.
- To exercise the right of free termination, the CONSUMER must fill out the return form on the site sazorea.com and wait for the SELLER to send an email confirming acceptance of the return and the address indicated for returning the items. You must return the item via registered mail to the address we will indicate. When the return is received, we will perform a quality check and proceed with the refund, if applicable.
- Only returns of products that arrive properly packaged in the original shipping box and are in the same condition as they were delivered: in the original undamaged packaging, unopened, unused, without any signs of use, and with all security seals intact, are accepted.
SAZOREA will not refund in the following cases:
- Products damaged by misuse or negligence;
- Opened and/or used products; products with signs of use and damaged security seals;
- Products purchased on sale, promotion, with a discount code, or as a gift;
- Products not purchased on the SAZOREA website, purchased through partners.
- It is a valid reason for return if our warehouses send the wrong product (exchange of references or items) or if it has a manufacturing defect. We will proceed with the exchange, with the SELLER bearing the costs of return and reshipping of the product. In case of an error in the order.
- In case of termination of this contract, the payment made will be refunded to you, except for shipping costs and product return costs, which will be borne by the CONSUMER. The refund will be made without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 days from the date the goods are received and are in perfect presentation and conservation conditions. We will make this refund using, whenever possible, the same payment method you used in the initial transaction, except when the payment was made via entity and reference or MBWAY. In this case, the IBAN will be requested for the respective refund. You will not incur any cost as a result of such a refund.
- In the event that the CONSUMER wishes to cancel an order that has already left our warehouses or does not accept the order already sent, the SELLER may demand payment of the shipping costs incurred by its cancellation or return to our warehouses.
- We reserve the right not to accept refunds for items that do not meet the requirements of our return policy. As soon as the item you returned reaches us, we will proceed with the evaluation process for exchange/return and contact you via email with information regarding the process.
- Exchange of items
- The CONSUMER may request the exchange of an item within 14 days from the date of receipt, provided it is in good condition, as described in 4.
- In case of exchange acceptance, SAZOREA will issue a voucher for the purchase amount, deducting the shipping costs of the order. This voucher can be used within one year from the date of issue and only for a single purchase of equal or greater value than the original purchase.
- The return costs associated with the exchange are also the responsibility of the Consumer.
In all cases of exchanges and returns, SAZOREA is not responsible for lost orders that have not been communicated to us and/or do not have a tracking number.
CANCELLATION
- If the CONSUMER placed an order but wishes to cancel it, they should send us an email to hello@sazorea.com, as soon as possible. The CONSUMER should include in the email the details of their order: order number and full name.
- If the order has not yet been prepared, we can cancel it and refund the total amount of the respective order. If the order has already been processed or shipped, the CONSUMER must follow the return process.
WARRANTY
a. The warranty period for products is two years for manufacturing defects.
b. For the purposes of warranty on our cosmetic products, a manufacturing defect is considered to be any problem with the respective batch, identified only by the SELLER.
PRODUCT USE
At SAZOREA, we pay great attention and care to the information regarding product characteristics through complete technical descriptions, ingredient lists, usage instructions, and precautions, as well as photographs illustrating the products. All our formulas and information provided comply with national and European legislation regarding cosmetic products and meet the highest quality standards. - All our products are formulated and produced in accordance with the current European Legislation: REGULATION (EC) No. 1223/2009 of November 30 of the European Parliament and the Council and all its updates and corrections, and are also registered in the CPNP – Cosmetic Products Notification Portal.
- It is the CONSUMER’s sole responsibility to carefully read all product usage instructions and precautions to use the product strictly for the purposes for which it was designed and in the recommended manner. SAZOREA is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of any of its products sold on its SITE.
- SAZOREA is not responsible for any damages that occur due to an allergic reaction or any other unexpected event. We advise you to read the label, where the complete list of ingredients is indicated, before using any product.
SAZOREA is not responsible for any health or safety issues after the CONSUMER receives the products. If the CONSUMER suffers any damage resulting from the use of our products purchased by them, SAZOREA will not share any responsibility. Please read all the information provided about the product, as well as the usage instructions and precautions, both on the SITE and on the product packaging, before using it.
SITE USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
The entire website is protected by intellectual property laws. The website, as a whole and in each of its components (such as texts, animations, photographic images, illustrations, diagrams, logos, videos, sounds, and music), is the exclusive property of SAZOREA, which is the only one authorized to use the intellectual property rights related to it.
In accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code and international conventions, the use of all or part of the SITE, including for downloads, reproduction, transmission, representation, or dissemination for purposes other than personal and private use for non-commercial purposes, is prohibited. Violation of these provisions is subject to the penalties provided for by the Intellectual Property Code and the Penal Code, regarding copyright and trademark rights violations, and by the Civil Code in matters of civil liability.
The SAZOREA trademark and domain name www.sazorea.com appearing on the SITE are the exclusive property of Zivo Unipessoal Lda. Any reproduction or use of this trademark or domain name is prohibited.
The creation of hyperlinks to other sites can only be done with the prior written authorization of SAZOREA, which can be revoked at any time.

WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
- SAZOREA strives to ensure that the information provided through its SITE is accurate and up-to-date. However, SAZOREA does not guarantee in any way that this information is accurate, complete, and constantly updated. SAZOREA offers no express or implied warranties regarding all or part of its SITE. We cannot guarantee access to the SITE under any circumstances, for reasons including maintenance, updates, or even for any other reason.
- In particular, SAZOREA is not responsible for any interruption or inaccessibility of the SITE, any error, any damage resulting from fraudulent acts by third parties through the website (such as intrusion, for example).

- Your provision is optional and, under the law, the right of access, rectification, and cancellation of any data that directly concerns you, personally or in writing, is guaranteed. All requests must be made through the addresses and forms identified in point 1 of these Terms and Conditions.
CONSUMER DISPUTES
Alternative Dispute Resolution is the possibility that all consumers have at their disposal to resort to Official Entities that help them resolve or guide them in resolving a conflict.
