If there\u2019s one thing that warms my heart since Sazorea was born, it\u2019s the conversations I\u2019ve had with the people who discover us. Whether it\u2019s a private message, an event, a fair, or a simple comment on social media \u2014 there are questions that come up again and again, and I always receive them with a smile.<\/p>\n

Today, I decided to answer the three questions I get asked the most about the brand, in the most sincere and personal way I can. Because here at Sazorea, we believe in open dialogue, in listening, and in sharing \u2014 from skin to skin.<\/p>\n

1. \u201cWhat does the name Sazorea mean?\u201d<\/h3>\n

And why did you choose a word that doesn\u2019t exist?<\/p>\n

Ah, this is one of my favourites \u2014 because the name Sazorea was one of the most emotional parts of our creation.<\/p>\n

Sazorea is indeed an invented word.
But it carries very real meaning.
It\u2019s a fusion of three pillars:
Saudade,
Azores,
Nature.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I wanted a name that sounded poetic, light, and organic \u2014 like our sea, our wind, our nature, and our skin. Something that represented our Azorean roots, our natural purpose, and the deep feeling of creating something with soul.<\/p>\n

I began the naming process by playing with the letters from the word AZORES, and \u201cSazore\u201d came up \u2014 but something felt missing. Then I added the letter A from my name: Ana Catarina. And when I said \u201cSazorea\u201d out loud\u2026 I felt it. That was the one.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s more than a name.
It\u2019s a word that reminds me every day of where I come from, what I believe in, and where we want to go with Sazorea.
And above all, why I started this journey.<\/p>\n

<\/h3>\n

2. \u201cAre your products truly effective, or just natural?\u201d<\/h3>\n

I love when people ask this \u2014 because it shows they\u2019re informed and conscious. And the answer is: they\u2019re natural AND effective<\/strong>. Both go hand in hand here.<\/p>\n

Sazorea was born precisely out of my frustration as a consumer: \u201cnatural\u201d products with no real results. Or, on the other hand, effective products full of questionable ingredients.<\/p>\n

So I went to study: I trained in cosmetology, completed a master\u2019s in Cosmetic Sciences, and dedicated years to research. Every ingredient we chose was selected to be functional and effective.<\/p>\n

We use active and natural ingredients carefully chosen for their skin benefits.
And many oily-skin customers are surprised by our serums \u2014 lightweight, fast-absorbing, and non-comedogenic.<\/p>\n

For us, natural does not mean basic.
It means botanical intelligence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

3. \u201cWhy only three products?\u201d<\/h3>\n

Because we believe that skincare doesn\u2019t have to be complicated to be effective.<\/p>\n

In fact, we believe natural beauty begins when we stop overwhelming the skin and start nourishing it with intention.
More products don\u2019t mean more care \u2014 they mean more noise.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we created a minimalist line with just three essential steps:
\ud83e\udee7 cleansing,
\ud83c\udf3f treatment,
\ud83c\udf19 nighttime regeneration.<\/p>\n

Each product was formulated to work in synergy, giving the skin exactly what it needs \u2014 without excess, without hurry, without complicated formulas.<\/p>\n

Less is more.
Less is balance.
Less is skin that breathes.<\/p>\n
